SunSystems 5.3 & PM Q&A Upgrade
Barbados, 29th September 2009 - Savannah Computing Limited, Trinidad.
Savannah Computing, a Trinidad based company that specializes in SunSystems Financials and Vision
implementations, upgrades, maintenance and support, recently announced a successful upgrade of SunSystems
Financial Management System from 5.1 to 5.3.
This was achieved at a leading Caribbean Financial Services Group based in Barbados and was completed in
conjunction with the Vision 5 upgrade to Vision6 (PM Q&A10).
The company has over 100 SunSystems users and is committed to SunSystems for their Financial Management,
Asset Register and consolidated management reporting.
This upgrade positions the company with a current version of their core financial application providing
additional capacity and greater business functionality.
The upgrade was completed in three months and is currently operational in Barbados, Jamaica and Trinidad.
The project was completed using the PQIS Implementation Methodology.
Two key factors for the success of the project were the client’s keen business acumen and steadfast
dedication to the project. Staying focused on the end goal and not getting distracted by opportunities to
experiment with excessive customization also helped the project stay on track.
It is safe to say that our client is reaping the benefits of the upgrade with a highly secure and stable
system from which to grow their business and increase their competitive advantage. They are now well
positioned to leverage the technical advances of SunSystems from Infor Financial Services to optimize and
improve their business processes.
SunSystems is being used at a number of local companies including the finance, manufacturing, insurance, oil & gas and hospitality sectors.
