Systems Administration Training on SunSystems4

Port of Spain, Trinidad – April 2008 – Savannah Computing recently held a Systems Administration training course for SunSystems4. This was held over a two-day period (10th to 11th April 2008). Training was conducted at Savannah’s offices, located at 31 Alberto Street, Woodbrook, Port of Spain, Trinidad.

Attendees acquired an understanding of the administrative procedures and system control functions within SunSystems4. This included the creation and maintenance of databases, the set-up of the operator and security permissions and the archiving of old data. Sessions also included an explanation of the hidden functionality within SunSystems, how to troubleshoot the system and the import and export of data to and from SunSystems. Course participants included Systems Administrators and experienced users from both local and regional companies that use SunSystems and who are required to provide administrator functions and support for the system.
